This is very interesting. I saw a similar story serialized on BBC South Asia website about a Pakistani BBC journalist returning to Pakistan last year.

Thanks again for ur reply
Well Sir thats exactly what ma teacher at NED told me... that at MS level they dont expect you to do any type of research work & u need not to contact any professor, he also had been a part of the admission process of a british university... but when I applied all these things to ETH I had different results... some days ago I was talking to an indian fellow, he had 90% in his bachelors but even then he was rejected.ETH doesnt ask u for GRE scores but they recommend it... so someone getting 90% should have got admission.... contrary to the result I talked to another Indian fellow... who has justttttt 72% & he was there studying at ETH.He send me his SOP which cleared many things, that they expect you to have some reasearch background even when you r applying for masters & the other thing , find some helpfulllllllllllllll professor there

Globalization or Exploitation of "Cyber Coolies" in India's IT Sweatshops?

India's IT sector business is essentially driven by low-cost call centers, first-line tech support, simple repetitive code writing, and execution of pre-defined test suites. A typical Indian IT worker is increasingly being called a "cyber coolie" or sometimes a "code coolie", the former term having been coined by an astute Indian columnist Praful Bidwai back in 2003. India has beco… Continue
