Pakistan lose ODI series to India in India...A First since 1983

India must be proud! This is the first time since 1983 that India won a home series against Pakistan. Lion's share of the credit must go to Sachin with Yuvraj and Dhoni as supporting cast. Not only did Pakistan score very slowly on a sluggish pitch but they had a worse than usual start. If it wasn't for Yousuf, Pakistan would have made it much easier for India to take the series. The absence of Asif known for troubling the Indian batting line-up was keenly felt. A stronger bowling performance by Pak would have the series alive for another match.

Yes..i do agree....
Bowling is our main strength..
n it has been for long time ...
whenever we won ODI or Test...
major share always goes to our Bowlers...
Imran,wasim,waqar,Aaaqib, Shoaib......
..................
but i also felt a lack of motivation in our team....
Out of form Captain...
Out of form Wicketkeeper...
Main bowler..just recovered from injury and ban...
All rounders like sohail tanveer & abdur rehman also not so mature....
..........
so personally i never thought that they will manage to seal series win....
.....
May be 2 many all rounders in our team..
Shoaib Malik,Afridi,Sohail Tanveer ,Abdur Rehman with fawad alam also in team....
so for me...it is quite unbalanced side...lacking specialist ....
we certainly miss ...timers like saeed anwar and all rounders like wasim akram...
...
India must be given credit for this achievement.

I just get the impression that Pakistan dont have a gameplan.
While batting, the inning doesnt seem to be going in any direction. I guess what we will miss most about Inzi is how he would keep ticking the scoreboard in the middle overs, and go berserk in the last overs.

I dont get why Malik likes to send Afridi a bit too early. In the last game, after Younis got out at the 30 over mark, you needed a guy who would take singles and not lose his wicket ... a situation ideal for Misbah. You cant expect Afridi to consolidate. It would have been better to keep Afridi for the last ten overs.

But in the end, it just seems to be one out of a long list of problems. A list which includes Pakistan's persistence with Akmal, undefined roles and positions for batsmen, and failure to keep Akhtar, Gul and Asif consistently fit.

These three have the potential to form a very formidable attck, but they havent played in a single match together till now.

Pakistan's Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) Initiative Transforming Lives

Pakistan's journey to build a digital public infrastructure (DPI) began in March 2000 with the establishment of NADRA, the National Database and Registration Authority. The Gates Foundation defines DPI as follows: "DPI is a digital network that enables countries to safely and efficiently deliver economic opportunities and social services to all residents. DPI can be compared to roads, which form a physical network that connects people and provides access to a huge range of goods and…

    Solar Power Boom in Pakistan

Falling solar panel prices and soaring rates for grid electricity are driving a renewable power boom in Pakistan. A second factor spurring the growth in clean energy installations is the requirement of major western apparel brands for garments and textile manufacturers to switch to clean energy. As a result, the solar panel imports in the country jumped from 2,800 MW in 2022 to 5,000 MW in 2023, in…
