ICL 2020 is spectacular. I see this as a way to attract many non-cricket-playing nations such as the US and Canada to the cricketing fold. It has all the elements of speed, excitement, cheerleaders, mascots, big sports and screen stars and entertainment combined with the commercial interest of sponsors. It’s really enjoyable watching it on Zee Sports in the US. Big names from Pakistan include Inzimam ul Haq, Imran Farhat, Abdur Razzaq, Azhar Mahmood and Moin Khan.
Great work by the ICL folks. I like this new competition for the ICC and its member boards. Hopefully, it'll force ICC to do better.

I am in total agreement. To capture a broader audience, cricket needs to be repackaged. I think the ICC needs a Keripacker type of phenomenon after every 30 years, to get them to rethink their strategy. The introduction of ICL has already prompted action from the ICC. THey are considering their own IPL, which will be a frachnise-based Cricket League.
It is being said that it will be even bigger and better than the ICL .It will be recognized by the ICC. Already, there is news that Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh khan and even Russell Crowe (who happens to be Martin Crowe's cousin) are planning to buy a franchise.

And one more thing... i reall miss inzi... there was a lot of criticism about his captaincy in the end... but I have to say that his retirement has had a huge impact on the team.

Dr. Danish Saleheen, a Pakistani-American professor at Columbia University, and his fellow researchers have published a comprehensive analysis of 173,303 genomes from Pakistan, one of the largest genomic studies ever conducted in South Asia. A 2024 joint study of the International Labor Organization and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority  (SMEDA) estimated Pakistan's undocumented economy at $457 billion. While other South Asian nations, particularly Bangladesh and India, do include estimated undocumented GDP figures in their official GDP, Pakistan's official GDP figures do not include such estimates.
