Big Step to Give Relief to Gas Consumers on Prime Minister's Notice

After taking notice from Prime Minister Imran Khan, it has been decided to return the amount received from the consumers in case of additional gas bills.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s notice was taken in a big step for the relief of gas consumers.

Report of sending additional bills to low-pressure areas was presented to the Prime Minister.

Gas pressure available to consumers and bills received is reviewed.

At various places, the supply gas pressure came down from the billing pressure, which the Prime Minister expressed extreme anger.

On the Prime Minister’s notice, the administration of the Sui Northern Gas Board of Directors came into action.

The company will refund Rs 513 million from consumers.

Sui Northern has swapped 50 million subscribers for February, March 2019, while a further refund of Rs 463 million has been initiated.

On Prime Minister’s notice, the company has adjusted the billing according to the actual gas pressure.

PM directs upcoming gas bills to be issued on the basis of real gas pressure and constant monitoring of supply and demand situation in different areas.
