Celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day with us. This will be an informal program with guest speakers giving their views and then attendees will have their comments. Confirmed speakers are Dr, Waheed Siddiqee who witnessed the independence time himself, Dr. Nazir Ahmad who will give Iqbal’s view on Independence, Javaid Sayed from the City College of San Francisco will talk about Quaid-e-Azam and Pakistan movement followed by one of his poems about Pakistan, Riaz Haq will talk about current state of Pakistan, Javed Iqbal will sing Iqbal’s poetry and Shahzad Basir who will recite Faiz’s poetry related to the event.
