You can use HTML box for more than simple text. You can add links to resources, photos, etc. Give it a try on the SPEC group page to make it easy for people to stay informed.

You should approach other companies such as Intel, Microsoft, Siemens, Motorola, Oracle etc with a powerful pitch outlining the benefits to them of their participation. This will be a good learning experience for you and help recruit sponsors at the same time.
