Out of School Children: ASER Pakistan Reports Substantial Increase in Enrollment
The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) Pakistan 2025 national report, officially released on March 26, 2026, shows that the number of "Out of School Children" (OOSC) aged 6-16 years in Pakistan is now 5 million, not 25 million generally reported. I am a Search Consultant currently conducting a World-wide search for a Client of mine. My client and I are looking for an engineer who would be headquartered in the U.S. in Chicago, IL, but spend large amounts of time in Pakistan. The Engineer would have a Hydropower and Geotechnical background and be involved with the Neelum Jhleum Dam Project just north of Karachi.
