One person was dead when a rashly driven trailer ran over him in Lahore on late Monday night.
According to details, the incident occurred in Shafiqabad area near Bund Road in Lahore where a speeding trailer ran over a pedestrian, resulting he died on the spot.
After being informed, rescue teams rushed to the spot and moved the dead body to hospital for autopsy.
According to rescue sources, the deceased was identified as Naeem, who was father of five children.
The area residents and bereaved family gathered at crime scene and blocked the Bund Road while the driver of the trailer managed to flee from the scene.
The demonstrators dispersed peacefully after police intervention.
Earlier, on October 15, one was dead while another was injured in a collision between bike and a tractor trolley in Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday.
According to details, the accident took place near Sunni Pull in Rahim Yar Khan where a young man died on the spot and another was received injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a tractor trolley.
Eye-witnesses said that the road mishap happened owing to over-speeding.
After being informed, rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
Later, the body was handed over to kin.
