Despite strict Covid-19 restrictions in the parts of the United Kingdom under a new three-tiered system, it has recorded 143 more deaths on Tuesday, the highest daily figure since June.
This figure raised the death toll in the United Kingdom within 28 days of infecting with the new coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic to 43,018.
According to the official data, the total number of cases has reached 634,920 after 17,234 new infections were reported on Tuesday, while on Monday the country registered 13,972 cases.
Despite the implementation of strict restrictions, the countries all over the world are facing continuous spike in COVID-19 related cases and deaths.
The number of coronavirus cases recorded worldwide has crossed 38 million (38,364,519), according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 1,090,811 lives worldwide so far and 28,851,704 patients have been recuperated.

The Indian military leadership is finally beginning to slowly accept its losses in its unprovoked attack on Pakistan that it called "Operation Sindoor".
