- I did my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NEDUET in 2006. I worked as Trainee Engineer in Pakistan State Oil Company before joining NEDUET as Lecturer in July 2007. Then I came to Canada in September 2008 and started MASc from University of Waterloo with specialization in Energy Management & Sustainable Energy.
For the last eight years, I have been involved with engineering consulting companies Genivar, WSP and currently Stantec. I have provided services in Electrical distribution and control system design, power system studies, on-site commissioning support etc for Mining, Industrial and Buildings clients.

NED University Alum's Chip Startup Acquired by ARM For $265 Million
DreamBig, a fabless semiconductor company founded by NED University alumnus Sohail Syed, has been acquired by Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) for $265 million.
