Tell us about you:
I was born and raised in Karachi. I obtained my Secondary School Certificate (Science) in 1994 from St. Pauls's English High School, Saddar, Karachi, and was awarded the Shield of Honour for second highest marks in my graduating batch. I earned my High School Certificate from Adamjee Government Science College in 1996 in Pre-Engineering with A+ grade.

I earned a B.Eng. degree with First Class in Computer Systems Engineering in 2001 from NED University of Engineering and Technology. From 2001-2003, I served as an instructor in the computer engineering department at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. I joined the department of computer engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals as a Research Assistant (RA) in Fall 2003. I was a member of the Parallel VLSI CAD group led by Dr. Sadiq M. Sait. I also worked in the area of VLSI test data compression under the supervision of an excellent adviser Dr. Aiman H. El-Maleh. I attended GECCO 2005, IPDPS 2006 and ATS 2007 conferences in USA, Greece and China and presented my research.

After graduating from KFUPM, I worked at the KFUPM Information Technology Center on the implementation of SunGard Banner Student System as a member of the data migration team. I joined Digitek Engineering Karachi in March 2007, as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer working on design and verification of digital communication subsystems (FPGA/ASICs).

Currently, I am PhD student at the University of Southampton School of Electronics and Computer Science.

    IDEAS 2024: Pakistan Defense Industry's New Drones, Missiles and Loitering Munitions

    The recently concluded IDEAS 2024, Pakistan's Biennial International Arms Expo in Karachi, featured the latest products offered by Pakistan's defense industry.
