About QuranExplorer -
A very nice website. Someone posted about it on our mailing list in the past. Based on that, for the first time, I was able to find & download urdu-only Quran Majeed in mp3. Although it bypasses the web portal (kindof not-intended by site originators), but for people with long daily commute - it works great with mp3 player or mp3/cd deck in car.

Highly recommended.

BTW - why urdu-only?
Few years back, a guy (non-muslim, local) at my office (IL) asked me about my country. I told him Pakistan. He had worked/studied with Pakistanis in the past. He said .. oh right ... you are one of those - who can read your holy book and even write the script of your holy book - but mostly can't understand it !!

People might have other opinions - but I think we have two options; either get grip of language and then attempt to get essence of the subject -OR- try getting essence of the subject in a translated language.

I think on this nedian.ning portal, some discussion thread exists about urdu as a medium of teaching in PK.

Pakistan has retained Keith Schiller, also a former Trump aide, for a monthly compensation of $50,000 to help Pakistan get favorable treatment by the Trump Administration. It shows that India is outspending Pakistan by 3 to 1 on lobbying in Washington, but it does not appear to be paying off for New Delhi. …

India Tariffs: Is Modi-Trump Bromance Over?

President Donald Trump has imposed 50% tariffs on India's exports to the United States. This is far higher than most countries facing US tariffs. Explaining the punitive India tariffs, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said: "India came to the table early. They’ve been slow rolling things. So I think that the president, the whole trade team has been frustrated with them. And also, you know, India, India has been a large buyer of sanctioned Russian oil that they then resell as refined…
