when it comes to hiring for my companies, one of my top priorities is to recruit talent from my alma mater, Forman Christian College.
Tell us about you:
I’ve always believed in thinking outside the box and challenging the conventional paths to success. My journey began in Lahore, Pakistan, where I grew up with a strong sense of purpose and a desire to create something meaningful. After completing my bachelor’s from Forman Christian College, I entered the corporate world as a market insights specialist. It was during this time that I built valuable connections and developed a deep understanding of business dynamics.

Over the years, I took bold steps and started my own ventures. I founded Jamal Din Textile, a home textile export company, in honor of my grandfather. In just five years, it became one of the leading companies in Pakistan’s textile industry. But I didn’t stop there—I wanted to push further and explore new opportunities.

That’s when I moved to the United States and founded BestoPrint, a commercial printing company. We quickly became one of the fastest-growing firms in the U.S., serving Fortune 500 companies. This experience opened many doors and helped me build an extensive network with some of the best entrepreneurs and investors around the world.

As my career progressed, I joined forces with cBeyond, a dynamic conglomerate with interests spanning technology, media, education, and healthcare. It was here that I honed my ability to identify opportunities across various industries and develop sustainable business models. Being featured in publications like Entrepreneur Magazine and The International Business Times was a humbling experience, but it also reminded me of the impact business can have on a global scale.

The tech industry has always fascinated me, and it’s where I’ve made some of my strongest connections with venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. People like Harry Stebbings, Waqar Khan, and Sara Mauskopf have been instrumental in expanding my understanding of what’s possible in the world of tech. Through my partnerships with Fishglow Labs and VC firms, I’ve been fortunate to help Pakistani IT startups scale globally, while also contributing to Lahore’s growing reputation as a tech hub.

What drives me is not just business success, but the ability to make a meaningful difference in the world. That’s why I’ve also been involved in political efforts, specifically with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, where I worked to ensure free and fair elections in Pakistan. It's about creating opportunities not only for businesses but for the people and society as a whole.

I believe in continuous growth, both personally and professionally, and I’m always looking for ways to innovate, give back, and help others succeed. Whether through mentoring, investing in startups, or empowering talented individuals, my goal has always been to help others realize their full potential.
