Coronavirus: Transport to resume in Karachi from tomorrow

Karachi Transport Ittehad has decided to resume the public conveyance in the metropolis from June 1 (Monday) amid coronavirus pandemic.   

According to the detials, President of Karachi Transport Ittehad Irshad Bukhari said that the transporters are facing financial difficulties due to the lockdown and the government is not doing anything to provide relief to them.   

We will follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the provincial government by applying masks, sanitizers and sprays, he added.   

The president further said that there is talk of bringing seat-by-seat passengers.
